Terms of Service
These terms govern use of GoHotelify, the hotel software service provided by Stairio Technologies Private Limited. By signing up for or using the service you agree to them.
Last updated 11 October 2026
1. About these terms
"Stairio", "we" and "us" mean Stairio Technologies Private Limited. "You" means the hotel or business that signs up, and anyone who uses the service on its behalf. In these terms:
- "The service" is GoHotelify: the software, the hotel website we host for you, the booking engine and the other features in your plan.
- "Platform materials" are the software, themes, designs and other material we own or license, described in section 6.
- "Your content" is the material you provide, described in section 7.
This is version 2026-10-11. It applies to subscriptions that start on or after 11 October 2026. For a hotel that subscribed earlier, the terms it accepted continue until this version takes effect for it as section 13 explains.
If you have a separate written agreement with us, that agreement applies where it differs from these terms.
2. The service
GoHotelify provides hotel management software including a property management system, booking engine, hotel website, channel manager connectivity, reviews and reputation tools, restaurant point of sale, AI revenue and guest tools, and related communication and invoicing tools. Features available to a hotel depend on its selected plan and any add-ons.
3. Subscription and billing
You choose a plan and a billing period. Plans are billed monthly, or in advance for a longer period (such as 3, 6 or 12 months) at a lower effective price. The price for your plan, room count and billing period is shown before you pay.
You pay each invoice online through our payment provider, or by an AutoPay mandate that you authorise with it. Fees are billed in Indian Rupees and exclude GST, which is added as required.
We charge 0% commission on direct bookings taken through the platform. Payment gateway fees and commissions charged by your connected OTAs are separate.
4. Trial, refunds and billing
New hotels get a 14-day money-back guarantee, counted from the day they pay, and a 72-hour go-live promise.
After the 14 days, your subscription continues automatically on the plan and billing period you chose. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, with no cancellation fee.
How you start, refunds, cancellation, unpaid invoices and AutoPay are set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If this section and that policy ever differ, that policy applies.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the rates, inventory, guest data, and tax details you enter, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for complying with the laws that apply to operating your property.
6. Intellectual property, website themes and usage rights
Your subscription lets you use GoHotelify. It does not sell you the software or the website themes behind it. This section explains the difference.
What we own
GoHotelify and the original material in it belong to Stairio, or to the people who licensed it to us, to the extent we or they hold rights in it. This includes:
- our software and source code;
- our website themes and templates;
- our design system, interface components and the way they are arranged;
- the original page layouts, visual compositions, graphics and interaction designs in our themes;
- our CSS, JavaScript and other code;
- the booking engine, website modules, dashboards and other platform features;
- our documentation;
- the GoHotelify and Stairio names, logos and branding; and
- improvements we make to any of these.
Putting your hotel's content into one of our themes, or setting up a website for you, does not transfer ownership of any platform materials to you.
We do not claim to own your content, material that belongs to others (section 7), open-source software, or general ideas, functions and design conventions that hotel websites commonly use, such as a booking button, a photo gallery or a rooms page. What we protect is our own original expression and implementation.
Your licence
While your subscription is active and paid, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence, which can end under these terms, to use the service and your hotel website, including its theme, only for your own hotel's business and only within your plan.
You do not become the owner of a theme or of the platform because you paid for a subscription, provided content, received a configured website, or used it while subscribed.
What you may not do
Unless a written agreement with us allows it, or the law allows it despite these terms, you must not, and must not ask or let anyone else (such as a web developer) do any of the following:
- copy or reproduce a theme, or a substantial part of our website code, design or page composition;
- publish or move a theme, or a copy that reproduces a substantial part of it, to another domain, host or website builder;
- extract, download, scrape or reuse our source code, templates or components outside the service;
- use a theme to build or offer a competing product, template or website service;
- sell, sublicense, distribute or otherwise commercially exploit a theme apart from your subscription;
- remove our proprietary notices, or present platform materials as your own; or
- reverse engineer the service or get around its technical access limits, except where the law permits it.
What you are always free to do
- Use the service and your hotel website normally while subscribed, including letting guests view, share and book from it and letting search engines index it.
- Export your data and your content as section 9 explains.
- Take your content, your data and your domain to another provider.
- Build or commission a new website with your content, using a design that does not copy ours.
- Use general ideas, functions and common hotel-website conventions.
Rights that need a separate agreement
Ownership of copyright in a theme, a separate template or source-code licence, white-label rights, or permission to host a theme yourself are not part of a standard subscription. We can agree to them, but only in a separate written agreement signed, or otherwise validly accepted, by an authorised person at Stairio.
7. Your content and third-party materials
You own your content
You keep ownership of what you provide: your photographs, hotel descriptions, logos, text, room and rate details and similar material, subject to any rights others have in it. Guest data belongs to the hotel that collected it, as our Privacy Policy explains. Your content does not become ours because it appears in a GoHotelify website.
The permission you give us
You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, copy, display, transmit, back up, format and process your content, only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service as these terms and the Privacy Policy describe. This includes publishing it on your hotel website and booking engine and sending it to OTAs through our channel manager. The permission ends when your content is deleted, apart from backups that expire on their normal schedule and records the law requires us to keep.
You must have the rights
You confirm that you own your content or have permission to use it this way, including photos taken by a photographer or found online. If you ask us to publish something, you are responsible for having the rights to it. We may remove content after a credible complaint that it infringes someone's rights (section 10).
Third-party materials
Some material in the service belongs to others and comes under its own licence, for example open-source software, fonts, icons, maps and stock images. That licence applies to that material, and nothing in these terms takes away rights it gives you.
Custom work
If we build something specially for you under a separate written agreement, such as a custom design, that agreement decides who owns it and how you may use it. Without one, setting up or customising a standard theme for your hotel is part of the service, and section 6 applies to it.
Suggestions
If you send us ideas or suggestions for GoHotelify, we may use them without owing you anything.
8. Domains and moving to another provider
A domain name and the website shown on it are separate things. Your hotel website may run on a GoHotelify address (for example yourhotel.gohotelify.com) or on a domain you own or control.
A domain you own stays yours, under your domain registrar's terms. We do not claim it unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. A GoHotelify address belongs to us and stops working for you when the service ends.
Owning or controlling a domain does not give you the right to copy our theme or software to show on it. If you move to another provider, you may take your content, your data and your domain. You may not take copies of our software, source code, templates or design components, or a website that reproduces a substantial part of our theme.
9. Subscription expiry, termination and website access
When the service stops
Your subscription ends when you cancel (at the end of the period you have paid for), when you take a refund under our money-back guarantee, or when we end it under these terms. When it ends, we stop providing the service, including hosting your hotel website.
If an invoice is overdue, we may pause the service as the Refund & Cancellation Policy explains, including its grace period and how long we keep your data.
We may also suspend or end the service if you seriously breach these terms, for example by copying platform materials, and do not put it right within a reasonable time after we tell you. We may act straight away where the law requires it or the breach cannot be put right.
No rights carry on
Your licence under section 6 ends with your subscription. If any part of the service stays reachable for a while afterwards, that does not extend your subscription or give you any further rights. After the service ends you must not reproduce or republish a theme outside the service unless we agree in writing.
Your content, data and domain stay yours
You can ask for a full export of your data, which we keep for 30 days before deletion, as the Refund & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy explain. Records the law requires us to keep, such as tax invoices, are kept for as long as it requires.
Ending a subscription never makes your content, your data or your domain ours. We do not withhold your data, hold back your domain, or delete your content early to put pressure on you in an intellectual-property dispute.
What continues after the end
Sections 6 to 10, section 12 and section 14 continue to apply after the service ends, along with any amount you still owe us.
10. Copyright complaints and enforcement
How we protect our work
If we find what we believe is unauthorised copying, distribution or use of platform materials, we may, based on the evidence we have and following lawful procedures:
- ask for the activity to stop;
- look into what happened;
- suspend or end the service as these terms and the law allow;
- ask hosting or other service providers to review the material; and
- use the remedies the law gives us.
Reporting a copyright problem to us
If you believe something on a GoHotelify website infringes your rights, or that someone is copying ours, email info@stairio.com with:
- the original work and who owns it;
- the material you say infringes it, and where it is (for example a web address);
- reasonable evidence, such as dates or files that show the original came first; and
- your name and contact details.
A complaint is a request for review, not proof. We look at the evidence, may ask the other side to respond, and then decide what to do under these terms and the law.
11. Payments to you
Guest payments collected online are processed by our payment provider and settled to the hotel's own payment account under the gateway's settlement terms. GoHotelify is not a party to the accommodation contract between a hotel and its guest.
12. Liability
The service is provided on a commercially reasonable-effort basis. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the preceding month.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version number and date are shown on this page, and earlier versions are available on request.
For an important change, we will tell existing customers by email or WhatsApp before it takes effect for them. A change does not alter a billing period you have already paid for, unless the law requires it. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint, please tell us first at info@stairio.com or on WhatsApp at +91 9262579663, and we will try in good faith to resolve it.
The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute under these terms, subject to any rights you have by law that cannot be excluded.
