Privacy Policy

We collect information hotels provide to run their property: hotel and staff account details, room and rate configuration, bookings, guest contact and stay details entered by hotel staff or guests during booking, and payment records. We also collect basic technical logs (IP, device, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.

Data is used only to provide the service: managing reservations, processing payments through our payment partner, sending booking and operational notifications by email and WhatsApp, generating GST invoices, and producing analytics for the hotel that owns the data. We do not sell personal data.

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store full card numbers or UPI credentials on our servers; those are handled by the payment gateway under its own PCI-compliant systems.

Each hotel's data is logically isolated. Guest data belongs to the hotel that collected it. We share data with sub-processors only as needed to run the platform (hosting, payment gateway, email and WhatsApp delivery, channel manager connectivity).

If your hotel gives you access to the GoHotelify app, we process your name, email and role (from the account your hotel created), a sign-in token kept on your phone, your phone's push-notification token, model and app version, your language and alert settings, and photos you choose to take when reporting a problem in a room. We use them only to sign you in, show you your hotel's work and send you the alerts you have switched on. Push notifications are delivered through Expo, Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and Apple (APNs). The app has no advertising and no tracking.

Staff accounts belong to your hotel: ask your hotel's owner or manager to remove you, or write to info@stairio.com from the email you sign in with and we will delete your account within 30 days. Signing out of the app removes that phone's push token at once. Records your hotel must keep (for example tax or guest registration records) are kept for as long as the law requires.

On cancellation, a hotel can request a full export of its data, which we make available for 30 days before deletion. Statutory records (such as tax invoices) may be retained as required by law.
